What hyaluronic acid does

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant: it draws water and holds it in the top layer of skin. Skin that holds more water looks plumper and smoother, and fine dry lines look softer while it stays hydrated.

"Low molecular"

Hyaluronic acid comes in different sizes. Larger molecules sit on the surface and hold water there. Smaller ones are made to sit a little further into the top layers. Many serums, including this one, use more than one size. In practice, what you will notice is a light, hydrated feel.

Almost all skin types. It is a good layer under moisturizer for dry or dehydrated skin, and light enough on its own for oily skin in summer.

What it will not do

It will not replace a moisturizer for dry skin. It will not change dark spots or deep lines. And it will not hydrate much if skin is left bare on top.
